How can we help our students cultivate a love of literature?

The Edpuzzle Originals Middle School Reading Project will help you teach reading comprehension skills using real-life topics that your middle school students will encounter in their core subjects.

These interactive video lessons include dynamic read-alouds where students can follow along with the on-screen text, then follow-up videos where students will practice analyzing the text.

Built for differentiation, you can use the read-alouds with students who need some extra support, while students who are ready for it can go straight to the text analysis video lessons. Check them out below!

In this video series, students will work on listening comprehension in a read-aloud of the informational text “Life in Victorian London” and then work through a series of reading comprehension skills in the following videos.
